El seu ajudant, el capit\u00e0 Mandrake, tracta de trobar la f\u00f3rmula per impedir el bombardeig. El president dels EEUU, per la seua part, es posa en contacte amb Moscou per conv\u00e9ncer el govern sovi\u00e8tic que l\u2019atac no \u00e9s m\u00e9s que un error est\u00fapid.
