Els primers ordinadors, tal com els coneixem avui, s\u00f3n, per\u00f2, de mitjans del segle XX. A partir d\u2019aqu\u00ed, els algoritmes aconsegueixen un desenvolupament sense precedents. El llibre recorre la hist\u00f2ria d\u2019aquests, prestant especial atenci\u00f3 als temps m\u00e9s recents.
